Bio:
Trevor Tubelle is an interdisciplinary artist who uses drawing as an underpinning for experimentation using hybrid forms of painting, mixed media, printmaking, installation, and performance. Recently, he has been focusing on interactive projects that help participants tap into their own inherent creativity and connect them to one another through play.
Tubelle is also an educator who has taught at various institutions over the past 20+ years, including Stanford University (Honors in the Arts Program, Summer Session & Continuing Studies), UC Santa Cruz, Kala Art Institute, and SF Center for the Book, among others. He received a BA in art from UC Berkeley and MFA in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute. He exhibits locally and internationally, and his work is included in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Originally from LA, he lives in San Francisco with his wife and two boys. His favorite color has always been emerald green.
